Philip H. Corboy

If you are a law student in Chicago, the name Philip H. Corboy is certainly familiar. Aside from being the founder of Corboy and Demetrio Law Firm, Philip H. Corboy is also one of the most recognized figures in the history of Chicago law practices. This accomplished yet modest legal expert help shaped the legal field, especially for personal injury lawyers.

It is not surprising at all to see Corboy being listed as one of the 100 most influential lawyers in America and one of the top 15 trial lawyers in the country. Over the years, he has contributed so much to the law community. In 2010, for example, he and his wife donated the largest amount of money ever given by an individual to the Loyola University Chicago School of Law; the Loyola University Chicago School of Law’s building is now called the Philip H. Corboy Law Center in appreciation.

Philip H. Corboy is also popular as a writer. With over 50 years of experiences in assisting victims and clients in personal injury cases, Corboy has written over 100 articles on legal and business issues. He even appeared in the Oprah Winfrey Show as a guest, along with several other high profile TV shows including Face the Nation and Nightline with Ted Koppel.
